The website phaedratabib.com is published by Phaedra Tabib, a graphic designer based in Ottawa (Ontario, Canada). For any question about your personal information, write to phaedratabib@gmail.com. Phaedra Tabib acts as the person responsible for the protection of personal information.

Data collected

• Contact form: name, email address, company (optional), project type and message.
• Audience measurement: pages viewed, device type and approximate country, only if you accept it in the cookie banner.
• Technical logs: the host briefly keeps the IP address and date of requests to keep the service secure.

No sensitive data is requested and no profiling takes place.

Purposes and legal bases

• Replying to your request: pre-contractual steps and legitimate interest.
• Understanding site traffic: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
• Securing the site and preventing abuse: legitimate interest.

Retention

Messages are kept for up to 24 months after the last exchange, then deleted. Audience statistics are kept for 14 months. Technical logs are kept for up to 30 days.

Recipients and transfers

Your data is never sold or rented. It is processed by technical providers: the host of the site and its form and, if you consent, the audience measurement tool. These providers may store data outside Quebec, Canada or the European Union. In that case, appropriate contractual safeguards govern the transfer.

• pt-intro (session storage): prevents the opening animation from replaying. Necessary.
• Audience measurement cookies: set only after you agree, for a maximum of 13 months.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS only. No API key or secret is present in the code run by your browser. The form is protected against automated submissions. In the event of an incident presenting a serious risk, the people concerned and the competent authorities would be notified.
